Aries: The King of Wands
You are in your element this week with this card.  This King knows from inspiration. This King knows all about
trusting his gut and honoring his impulse to go after what he wants, and encourages others to follow.  Not
everybody knows how to do that, you know. Not everybody knows he/she can.  You'll be given a chance this week
to try your hand at leading the group towards a vision that only you see.  And even if you weren't entirely sold on
the idea of your ability to succeed at this task, this week will let you to prove it to yourself once and for all.
Taurus: The Lovers reversed
You are thinking too much about this, Taurus.  Hey, over-thinking happens to the best of us.  But it looks like you
are caught in the middle of something (or somethings) and you can't make up your mind.  So you keep going back
and forth: maybe this one - no, that one - no,
this one.  Or maybe you are trying to redefine yourself based on the
needs of others only everyone needs something different.  Let yourself entertain the possibility that there may be
no right answer.  Maybe now is not the right time to decide.  If you don't know which way to go, don't invest in
plane tickets.  It's okay to decide not to decide until you have enough information to feel strongly about moving in
a certain direction.  Your indecision is telling you something.
Gemini: The Four of Swords
Oof.  Time out.  You have been pushing so hard, you need to recharge.  It's okay, it happens to the best of us.  This
week, you are being called to take care of yourself.  This card suggests a nap, a time out, or making time for
meditation everyday.  This isn't bad news - this is self-preservation.  Cut yourself some slack.  You are not a
machine, you need a break.  Think of it this way: if you look after yourself now, you will be more prepared to face
the next challenge with clarity and determination.
Cancer: The Eight of Cups
This card signals a time of profound emotions.  Maybe these are good feelings, maybe these are not so good, but
either way they are often overwhelming.  This card often comes up when you are tempted to cut and run, or take
action to get some relief from the depth of feeling.  It may seem that there are no clear answers about what you
can to do to fix your situation.  The truth is: your feelings are your guide.  Honor them by using strong feelings as a
compass.  What needs to happen for you to feel good about this situation?  Would distancing yourself feel better
or worse?  Let go of what your intellect says you "should" do - your heart is trying to tell you the essence of what
you need.  Embrace that, and you'll know how to move through this.
Leo: The Three of Wands
Watching your ship come in – that’s what this card is all about.  In fact, the image on many versions of this card is
just that: a figure leaning on a staff (or three), watching a ship in the harbor.  It could be argued that the ship is
leaving harbor, too.  Either way, the essence of this card is that you have put energy and action behind your
dreams, and putting it out into the world.  You may not reap the full reward this week, but you will see proof that
your ideas are in motion, and that your goals are closer to manifestation.  You are making it happen, and now it
requires a bigger audience.
Virgo: The Nine of Cups
The old school definition of this card is  The Wish Card.  Traditionally, it as seen as an augur of a very dear wish
coming true.  Nice, huh?  In my experience, it doesn't show up announcing your lottery numbers will be called or
that you'll be discovered by a Hollywood producer, but it does herald a time when you will get validation that you
are loved, honored and considered an important member of your tribe.  So whether or not you get your big break,
I can say with confidence that you are in for a lovely week.  Contentment is yours, this card promises emotional
peace.  (Really, isn't that everyone's dearest wish?)

Libra: The Queen of Swords
This Queen is clever and witty - a great mixer at parties, because she can talk to anyone about anything.  Leaning
more towards the intellectual side of the spectrum, many would be surprised to learn that she has had her share
of heartbreak.  She prefers to keep that truth in a pretty box marked  For My Eyes Only tied up with a lovely
grosgrain ribbon.  The fact that this card has appeared your you this week suggests successful socializing is on
deck - especially when you put the focus on the other person.  Winning new admirers and other assorted
networking tasks will be a breeze  if you keep it all light and lovely.  You are in your element this week.
Scorpio: The King of Cups
This King is the master of the emotional realm.  Not only does this indicate a genius for showing the love, it
suggests a skill for diagnosing the emotional pitfalls that others fall into, and the ability (and inclination) to reach in
and help others dig themselves out.  You could teach a class.  Write a book.  You are so good at this stuff, it's no
longer a skill - it's a quality.  Sometimes, this quality may feel like a weakness, but this week your power lies here.
Your strength is in your ability to see the world through someone else's eyes and feel the world with someone
else's heart.
Sagittarius: The Knight of Cups
Going after something that makes your heart light and getting it...is there anything better? This card suggests that
this week finds you charging into happy battle and reveling in the spoils of war. This Knight is telling you it's time
to take charge of your emotional destiny. You are worthy and capable of expressing that depth. Whether it's
showering your lover with affection, asking for more romance, or sharing yourself fully with friends and family, it's
time to go deeper.  Like the Beatles said: the love you take is equal to the love you make.
Capricorn: The Page of Pentacles
Time to get serious about money.  This Page augurs a time when information and messages about financial
security are all around.  Practical advice is available for managing - and increasing - your stores.  This is a great
time to explore your attitude towards your net worth...and improving it.  Take a class in tax write-offs, or read up
on improving your credit score or pay off that store credit card that only gets you into trouble anyway, or explore
new ways to market your business.  This card says that you are clever enough to take care of your finances, and
to do so you just need to learn some new tricks.
Aquarius: The Knight of Pentacles reversed
You gotta know when to hold 'em, and when to fold 'em.  When to walk away, and when to run.  Trouble is, you
don't have all the rules memorized, and you are still learning.  This Knight suggests that you would really like to
take charge in the workplace (or a financial matter), but you can't.  You are still figuring out your relationship to
your resources and learning about your true value.  The timing it off as far as taking action goes - the worst thing
you could do when you are unsure is to be too aggressive.  Cut your self some slack and do some inner work on
your relationship to money.
Pisces: The Three of Swords
Well, this is not a happy card, not in the immediate anyway.  But it does indicate the end of something that wasn't
meant for you anyway, so eventually the "loss" will be seen as appropriate and will leave the door open what
IS
meant for you.  Right now, though, there is still processing to be done: accepting the loss, working out how to move
forward, that sort of thing.  Doing this is work is yucky and requires you to be honest with yourself  – that’s the best
way to make sure that you don’t make the same mistake in the future.  The only way over it is through it, but do be
gentle with yourself as you go.
